I am not a great one for going overboard with health and safety issues.
However, occasionally I see something which does need dealing with.
These steps lead up to the front door of a late Victorian house. Just imagine how many people have climbed these over the years.
The stone “treaders” are badly eroded and the brickwork supporting them is deteriorating. They are an accident waiting to happen and need rebuilding.
Hopefully, the new owner will find a craftsman builder who will replace like with like.
