Surveyors will not “service” the central heating as part of their inspection and reporting as this must be carried out by a qualified professional such as someone on the gas safe register.
However, they will give general guidance on the apparent age and condition of the boiler, controls and radiator system.
Sometimes the clues are all too apparent, as in this case where the radiator system is positively antiquated and is unlikely to be very efficient…. if it works at all.
