All is not well at the same terraced house in Leicester.
The original mosaic tiled hall floor has been subject to perhaps the most heavy handed repair I have ever seen. Just look at that patch of quarry tiles!
In such situations it is often best to carefully lift tiles near the front door to create a mat well, then insert the tiles you have lifted to replace the damaged ones. Not a foolproof method but certainly an improvement on what has taken place so far.
