It is important to check the grouting and particularly the sealants around your bath and shower tray regularly.
If it cracks or peels away then water will find a way through causing damage to wall plaster and decorations. If there is a wooden floor underneath then a long term leak could cause expensive problems with wet rot or dry rot.
